Shippable equipment moves by parcel or freight, which we arrange and pay for. For full closures and wind-downs, our removal team travels — on-site removal is coordinated anywhere in the U.S., scheduled against your closure timeline.

In California, larger facility closures generally become public through WARN notices published by the California Employment Development Department, which publishes WARN notices as downloadable reports; licensure changes run through the California Department of Public Health's Center for Health Care Quality. Surgery centers are often small enough that no public notice ever appears — which is why many of the closures we buy from were never in the news at all.

Whether your closure is public yet or not, the equipment step works the same way: send the list you have (or ask us to help build one), receive a written offer within one business day, and schedule removal against your closure or lease deadline. Payment is confirmed before removal begins, so the equipment line on your wind-down plan is settled early — not left hanging on someone else's future sale.

Do you charge California facilities any fees?

No. There are no fees or commissions, and nothing is deducted from the written offer. Removal, packing, and transport are at no cost to the facility.

We're not near a major California city — do you still buy?

Yes. Shippable equipment is purchased from facilities anywhere in California; we arrange and pay for the freight. Closures and wind-downs get scheduled on-site removal regardless of location.

Our facility is closing on a deadline. How does that work?

Closure projects are coordinated against your dates — last case date, lease handback, or sale closing. The written offer comes within one business day of receiving your list, payment is confirmed before removal begins, and removal is scheduled around your operating calendar.

Q4

Is this an auction or consignment?

No. We are the buyer. There is no waiting for a sale event, no settlement period after someone else's transaction, and nothing contingent on what happens to the equipment after it leaves your building.
